Default Wooden or metal frame?

Which is the best type of greenhouse frame to choose...wooden or metal?

My garden is very open to the elements and I am not sure which type to go for. It needs to be able to take high winds and wintry weather without too much maintenance having to be done.

Thanks in advance

A metal frame sounds like it would be best for your needs. You don't need a lot of it for it to stay strong. With wood, your greenhouse may not stand up to the tough winds and snow. That's just my opinion though!

Metal can rust though and looks horrible when rusty but if wood gets rain on it could leak. They both have advantages and disadvantages. I would go for metal though because while standing it will look nicer
